What is sacred to the dining table is reduced to its form and colour in this photo series. By focusing on the objects’ reflective nature the purpose of this mundane object is shifted. A form that usually transports a meal from the exterior place to our internal bodies is now the centre of spectacle, a subject of the gaze. The language of cutlery is distorted through photography.
